ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA


In view of the new regulations on the protection of personal data introduced by the EU Regulation 2016/679, "GDPR", which is the basis of the legislation on the processing of personal data and the protection of such data for all EU member countries, we would like to assure you of our firm commitment to process your personal data transparently, securely and in compliance with all your rights under the law. To this end, you will find below the main elements that we consider useful for you to know on this subject, as a "data subject".

 

What is data processing

 

According to the EU Regulation 2016/679, "data processing" means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automatic means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.

 

Information about the controller of your data

 

As a controller of personal data, the Ana Aslan International Foundation will always ensure that data processing is lawful, fair and transparent, and that the data requested is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed.

What personal data do we process?    For what purposes?

 

We collect the following types of personal data through the "Stress Congress" registration form:

ü  Identification: data name and surname, CUIM/CM,

ü  Education and training data, place of work: occupation, professional degree, specialisation and place of work ,

ü  Contact data - email address, telephone number, address (city and county).

Through the application procedure, we also collect:

Payment-related data, which is reflected in our bank statements,

ü  Traffic data - IP, cookie, during online sessions.

The above mentioned data are processed:

For the purpose of organising the "Stress Congress", for:

ü  To draw up participation lists, validate registrations, registration and access to the Congress hall, as well as for the smooth running of the event, in order to be able to send you the communications and materials related to the "Stress Congress",

ü  Awarding credits by the Professional Colleges, issuing diplomas and producing post-event reports requested by the Professional Colleges.

b)      We also collect your e-mail address and telephone number through the Registration Form in order to contact you after the event for communications related to the Foundation's activities (newsletter), Stress Congress and other related purposes.

 

Where are your personal data transmitted?

 

Your personal data will be processed and stored securely by the Ana Aslan International Foundation and will only be transmitted to the Professional Colleges for the purpose of granting credits and issuing participation diplomas. Data will not be transmitted to third countries and/or international organisations.

 

How long do we keep the data?

 

Personal data collected for the purpose of organising the Stress Congress (name and surname, CUIM / CM, occupation, professional degree, specialisation and place of work, address), will be kept until the purposes for which they were collected have been achieved, i.e. for a further 12 months after the end of the event, for the purpose of settling any disputes.

 

Registration fee payment data, which is reflected in our bank statements, will be kept for 10 years, in accordance with current tax legislation.

 

Traffic data (IP, cookie) will only be kept for the duration of online sessions, in accordance with the Cookie Policy. Politicii referitoare la cookie.

 

What happens if you do not want your data to be processed?

 

If you do not want your personal data to be processed, we will be unable to process and validate your registration and participation in the Stress Congress. Your agreement or opposition to the processing of this data will be validated by ticking the appropriate boxes (I agree / I do not agree).

 

Personal data collected for the purpose of further communication (e-mail address and telephone number) do not in any way condition the registration to the Stress Congress. What are your rights regarding personal data?

 

Under the provisions of the EU Regulation 2016/679, you have the right to request access to your data, rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, you have the right to object to processing, and the right to data portability. You also have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority (ANSPDCP).
